Annual Registration
Every player must complete an Annual Registration once a year. Registration is FREE and covers 12 months, or 1 full year of play per athlete. Soccer calendar runs from August 1st — July 31st of the following year. This Annual form is required by the Montana Youth Soccer Association (MYSA), who insures each of our youth who play. Each Recreational season costs $50, and there are additional fees for participation in the Competitive/Travel league (usually around $250 for the Spring travel season), but annual registration is free. While clubs in Missoula are charging almost $100/season for Rec and upwards of $800 for their travel leagues, we aim to keep costs low and participation high for our local athletes and their families. Plus, every practice is in Frenchtown, right where they go to school.
Be prepared before you begin registering, you may need your athlete’s birth certificate, photo, insurance information and your primary care provider information. For ease of navigation we recommend completing registration on a desktop computer. FCFT is dedicated to continuing to improve our existing programs and develop new programs to offer Frenchtown community youth. Volunteers from our community are dedicated to working with youth of all ages to develop individual and team soccer skills, in turn also building upon communication, leadership, friendship, and character.
FCFT currently offers recreational and competitive/travel levels of play for kids of all ages in K-5th (Rec) and 6th-12th (Competitive). Anyone can participate in any program, no experience required. For competitive travel teams, we develop teams based on a first registered, first served basis. However, we want all athletes interested in soccer to have the opportunity to play, and will work to accommodate options with all. FCFT offers a scholarship program if registration fees for either Rec or Competitive are a barrier to playing. Please contact a board member if assistance is needed, or you know someone that could benefit from this assistance. We intend to ensure no athlete will be turned away due to fees. FCFT teams are comprised of youth with a wide range of skill levels from beginners to experienced players. All levels are welcome to play!
